My Winter Break

This winter break I went to Sascatchewan with my Dad and my brother. I got to visit my family!! On the ride back our tire exploded. We had to stop in Calgary to get a replacement. Being in Sascatchewan was lots of fun despite how cold and flat it was. This break I also, saw a play, played lots of board games, went to dance, and relaxed.

What I Want for Christmas

This Christmas I am hoping to recieve some of the following gifts:

-An ipod touch

-Movies like Singing in the rain

-ipod docking station

-clothes

-candy

Apart from gifts, I'm very excited for christmas, as I will be spending it in Sascatchewan with my family.

The Little Flower

This is the animation I made in Fireworks. I made the flower growing by myself, but I took the graphic of the grass off the internet. With some difficulty with the colours and gradient fill, it managed to turn out ok. I added music to suit the mood throughout the animation.

Ski Hill Opening

I'm not really looking forward to the ski hill opening since I don't ski or snowboard. But this winter season I'm thinking of trying skiing. The last I tried it I was only 10, but I'm hoping that this time I won't fall so much.

THE COLD

For this winter I plan on dealing with the cold by wearing mittens, toques, a jacket, gloves, drinking hot chocolate, sitting by the fireplace, avoid being outside too long, building a snowman, and going sledding.

Halloween!!

This Halloween I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do. I know that I'm going to be Mario, but I haven't got any plans yet. Sometime before now and halloween I'll probably watch a couple halloween movies which is my tradition. And also eat some candy!!

Photoshop: Text Projects

These are my projects from Part A: Text Projects. In this picture I morphed the text to go around the donut. I liked the contrast of the pink donut to the blue writing. I found this project to be pretty easy.

For the second project I made my name look 3D and animated. I found this project to be difficult because there was soo many steps. But, with perserverance,on my third attempt I got this. I like how the white in my name, and the shadow makes the image appear to be 3 dimensional.

Photoshop: Blending Images

I found this project very difficult. It turned out O.K. I would of liked it the picture of the girl wasn't transparent, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Photoshop: Tattoos

This project was the quickest one to complete. I was unsure of how to complete it, but with some help from the pure tutor I think it turned out well.

Photoshop: Painting Colour Away

In this picture I painted away the background to emphasize the butterfly. I found this project really easy. I like the pop of red and and pink!

Photoshop: Visual Colour Change

In the first picture I changed Stephanie's hair and shirt to vibrant red. I found this project really easy so I did two. I also changed a ladybug to blue. I think this picture is more believable than the first.

Photoshop: Motion Effects

This is my motion effect photoshop. I took a picture where there could be motion and blurred it. Then I made the face at it's front legs clear. I found this project confusing so it took a while, but I eventually figured it out.

My Logo

My Website will be about candy from around the world. So..I thought it was suitable to put the globe on a gumball machine. I used the contrast of cool and warm colours to accent the globe. There is also a good range of curved and straight lines. I made the gumballs (coming out the slot) complementary colours to accent each other.

My Nature Scan

For my final scan I used two dendelion's and a duck. I glued down the first dandelion and glued the pieces that fell out as if the wind was blowing. I glued down the second dandelion. I pasted the duck with one wing in front and one wing behind the dandelion as if he was holding them.

Black and White Scan

For my black and white picture I took an image and cut it apart. Then spread them out and rotating them. It's very skewed it's reminds me of the dove commercial that says our perception of beauty is distorted. Once I scanned the image, I went to Fireworks and converted it to gray scale.

Colour Scan

This is my colour scan. I selected any red images from magazines. The bright red colour really makes this image pop. I layered the three large images over all the small images to make them stand out more.
